“just think about it. People are enjoying his shit on a daily. Thats why when radiohead released “in rainbows” they did so for free and digital download. If you wanted the box set you had to order, which was obviously only for true fans. For the digital download they only asked for a donation they said ” What would you like to pay” leaving it up to the listener. If you felt the album was worth 100$ then you could pay 100$ and some fans actually paid that much. But the point is they realized where the industry was going, the labels didn’t matter anymore because NO ONE can control the internet. But even with that generous offer from what some people consider the greatest band ever if one person downloaded the album for .1 cents and then uploaded it to limewire no one would even have to go through the radiohead site to get it anymore…and it’s kinda insulting although of course radiohead knew that would happen anyway.”
