so i had long discussion last night
that has riveted my thoughts on the SOPA and PIPA bill being passed
my friend, who is an up and coming artists explained to me that maybe these two bills are not such a bad thing. maybe people just can’t take the fact the may live in a world where they may have to actual purchase the things they may want.
For instance, if the bills are to pass and they are used according to there purpose; stopping copy written infringement. Then maybe people who work really hard on the good things they produce will stop being ripped off sales and potential earnings.
Everyone knows that going to the stores and actually purchasing an actual cd disk seems outdated and laughable at the matter. Even the chance of going onto itunes and purchasing mp3 files seems trivial when there is always a way to get it for free.
honestly the internet is the destruction of a lot of businesses.
we as people don’t even pretend to be interested in going to the movies when the movies are accessible at our fingertips.
when we want them
at any given time of the day
honestly i have given it a lot of thought and society has just grown tolerable of getting free shit when we want free shit.
which is not so much of a bad thing
but it is not either being a good thing at the same time.
i think more and more people should read into this bill instead of just jumping on the #occupytheinternet bandwagon
